AMORAL Sign New Record Deal
July 31, 2004Finnish melodic death metallers AMORAL have signed a new deal with Spikefarm Records following their split with the U.K.'s Rage of Achilles "due to financial problems," according to a posting on the group's web site. "Both the label and the band agreed that Rage of Achilles didn't have the resources to take AMORAL to the next level. No hard feelings though, we want to thank Rage of Achilles for believing in us and helping us get started."
AMORAL, who recently parted ways with bassist Ville Sorvali (MOONSORROW),will release their debut album, "Wound Creations", before the end of the year. "Wound Creations" was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios and was mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox studios in Helsinki. An MP3 sample of the track "Solvent" can be downloaded at this location.
